Lucy Brown

Senior Associate

“A first-rate service. AFP is modern in outlook, intelligent in its approach, and its standards of service are much valued by clients and respected by peers.”

Legal 500

Lucy advises on all aspects of family law and issues arising upon relationship breakdown, including divorce, financial remedies, nuptial agreements, injunctive proceedings, and children matters. She specialises in high-net-worth family matters, which often involve disputes that have complex international, offshore, or financial elements. Many of Lucy’s cases involve corporate structures or jurisdiction issues. As a result of her experience, she has a developed understanding of the issues, complexities and strategic factors involved in such cases.

Lucy has acted for a wide range of clients, and provides thorough, reassuring and proactive advice and guidance. Whilst Lucy has considerable experience of litigation, she is also well versed in achieving results outside of court proceedings when appropriate, tailored to the individual’s preferences and goals. Lucy is committed to obtaining the best outcome for her clients, but has a highly personable and compassionate approach.

Lucy is a member of Resolution, an organisation of family lawyers committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes.

After achieving a first-class degree in Philosophy, and attending law school to complete her GDL, Lucy undertook her training contract alongside her LPC at a well-known family law firm where she qualified, and subsequently rose rapidly to Senior Associate. Lucy joined Alexiou Fisher Philipps in 2022.

Lucy lives in London and outside of work enjoys travelling, holding a particular fondness for Mexico and Brazil, spinning, pescatarian cooking, reading and art.
