Emmie advises on all areas of family law and the consequences of relationship breakdown for both married and unmarried couples. She undertakes a full range of financial work, regularly assisting on complex and high-value cases and has extensive experience of working on multi-jurisdictional cases. She also advises in relation to pre-nuptial and post-nuptial arrangements.

A large part of Emmie’s work is advising in relation to contact arrangements for children. Emmie also acts for parties where one parent wishes to relocate, either within the UK or internationally. She has experience of advising in relation to surrogacy and sperm-donor arrangements, an increasingly important and fast-changing area of law.

Emmie can advise in relation to non-molestation and occupation orders.

Emmie is a member of Resolution, an organisation of family lawyers committed to a constructive and non-confrontational approach to family law matters.

After reading History at Christ’s College Cambridge Emmie travelled around South America before attending law school in London. Emmie then trained to be a solicitor at a full-service City firm with a top-ranked family law team, where she also gained experience of property and commercial law. She joined Alexiou Fisher Philipps upon qualification in 2016.

Outside of the office, Emmie sings in the Some Voices choir and recently performed at East London’s Troxy
